Feel The Rhythm Feel the Rhyme Look Out Palmdale its POPPY time!

We took our annual trip to the Poppy fields today and it was not a disappointment. The past few weeks on the way to take Conner to school we could see the Orange glow on the hills by the Poppy reserve but this was the first chance we had to get out there. Here are some fun moments from our time!

Here are a few more pictures from our morning at Paradise Cove. Including Sally the Sea Lion who beached herself right near us when we first got there.. it was so fun for the kids to see this amazing creature up close. Here are also some cute Clarke pictures... and Daniel and his clone!

Springtime at the Beach

For Papa's birthday the whole family spent the morning at Paradise Cove! It was amazing weather, thanks to LOTS of prayer! The kids all had a lot of fun playing in the sand, the water and flying a Kite! My camera settings were way off so the color is a little funny on these but I have managed to salvage a few of them.

A Little Easter Fun!

Easter morning the kids had a fun little egg hunt. Conner had a blast finding all the eggs and cars! Brooklyn was VERY enthusiastic gathering her few "balls" and then banging them together! She sure looked cute doing it though!

Which came first the Chicken or the Egg?

The kids had fun dying their eggs today! Conner dyed the same eggs over and over again, and enjoyed teaching his little sister how to dye the eggs.

Brooklyn figured it out pretty quickly, and seemed to really enjoy the process. She then decided to bang the egg on the floor for a while and explore the insides as she smooshed it between her chubby little fingers. She took a few bites, some including the shell and now is a BIG fan of" eggies".
