Dirt... Dirt... And.... More Dirt!

Steve is putting out grass seed in the yard and we ordered several cubic loads of dirt to help out our "soil" otherwise known as decompossed granite (-:

Conner was so thrilled to have the dump truck at his house and even better are the two large piles of dirt to play with. Who needs Disneyland!

McCormick- Stillman Railroad Park

Wednesday morning before we left Phoenix we went to McCorkmick-Stillman Railroad Park. Conner enjoyed riding on the Paradise and Pacific Railroad train and also on the Carousel. We toured an antique Pullman car and played on their amazing playgrounds. Conner even ate lunch served out of an old Caboose! http://www.therailroadpark.com/index1.html

Ride em Ride em Ride em..... RAWHIDE!

While in Arizona we took Conner to Rawhide, an 1800s Western Town. He loved the panning for gold, miniature train ride, stagecoach ride, the blacksmith and the petting zoo. The gun shows were a bit too much for him still. Yeehaw!!!

Thomas the Tank Engine

While "Opa" was here we took Conner to see Thomas the Tank Engine at the Fillmore Western Railroad. Conner was thrilled to see the Real Thomas. We spent the afternoon, getting Thomas tattoos, Riding the train, running through the Hay maze and shopping in the "Thomas Mall". It was a day I don't think any of us will forget for quite some time.

Two Kids and a Box

Conner got to play with his cousin Hannah again this weekend. Its amazing how much fun two kids can have in a box!

Pink's Hot Dogs

Steve, Conner and I went to Pink's Famous Hot Dogs in Los Angeles! Conner really enjoyed the Chili Cheese Fries and Steve tried the polish sausage with Chili and also the Chili Hot Dog. Both boys had the orange glow.

Budding Artist

It seems we have a budding artist on our hands. Steve thinks we should sell the masterpieces and make some money. To tell you the truth I have seen a lot less impressive pieces at some art museums. Nevertheless, Conner enjoys painting and describing his art!

Fun at the Park

Conner loves to go to the park to play Soccer! He is getting really good at dribbling too! This weekend we went to watch Aunt Kristi, Uncle Daniel, Aunt Jac and Uncle Brian play Soccer. Conner got some field time after the game! Such a fun little boy, before we know it he will be playing on his own team.

Kissing Cousins

Conner and Kaylee have so much fun together. Kaylee loves to crawl all over Conner. Conner is not too sure he likes that but he enjoys playing with her. Last week when Conner got hurt and was crying Kaylee was so concened she started crying out of sympathy. Hopefully they will continue to be great friends as they get older!

Both kids love wrestling with Papa

Easter Fun ......A Little Early

Since we wanted to get up and go to Church on Easter Sunday we did our Easter Baskets and Easter Egg Hunt a day early. Conner really enjoyed dying the eggs and then searching for them. He wanted to know what was in each egg the plastic ones and the real hard boiled eggs. He tried cracking them all.

Dying the eggs was such fun, his favorite color was blue

Conner was just sure that the Easter Bunny was going to bring him some match box cars. What do ya know.. he did!

Happy Easter! He is Risen!

Dancing King

Last weekend we went to a family wedding. Conner got to play with several of his second cousins who he does not get to see very often. He and Hannah, who was three in January had a ball dancing at the reception. They were quite the hit of the party. They were twirrling each other, slow dancing and man, can Hannah shake her hips.
