Lake Arrowhead

For Memorial Day Weekend we went up to Lake Arrowhead. It was Brooklyn's first trip. She was such a trooper. She even let us dip her feet in the lake. When we go up later in the summer and the lake feels less like fresh snow melt we will dip more of her. Conner and Steve braved the frigid water more than once though! They are "MEN!". They spent lots of time on the Canoe though! So fun to watch our little boy growing up.

4 Months old!

Its so hard to believe that Brooklyn Claire is 4 months old! She is talking up a storm and smiling at everything! Such a fun age! We are headed up to the Lake this weekend for lots of firsts and I am sure to have quite a few pictures when we get back!

USS Midway

For my Daddy's birthday we took him to San Diego to the USS Midway. We spent over 4 hours touring the ship! It was so cool. Conner ate it all up and has been asking tons of questions since. Brooklyn slept through most of it and I think Steve could have spent several more hours there. It was a fun day and we all were glad we didn't have to be onboard for months at a time. The logistics of cooking, and cleaning and laundry were a bit overwhelming to me!

Train Up a Child....

On Mother's Day Steve and I had Brooklyn Dedicated to the Lord. We promised to raise her, and Conner, to know and love the Lord. She looked so cute in her beautiful dress and little bow. We pray that both our Children will grow up to be men and women of the Lord.

Fire Service Day

Saturday we went to the local Fire Training center for Fire Service day! It was really cool, actually it was a pretty hot day, I can't imagine being in a turn out coat. We watched them put out a car fire, played in the fire engine, and watched Helicopter repelling and water drops. Conner thought it was pretty neat.

Opa Cuddles

We have so enjoyed having Opa here! Its been busy but so much fun! Here are some special cuddles with Opa and his little Princess.

Water Time

The warm weather has brought out some of our water toys! The kids have been enjoying the slip and slide and Brooklyn's splash mat. The hose water is still a little too cold for her but she loves the be outside and splash.
