Summer Skating

Conner has been looking forward to ice skating for almost a year now, so we decided to give it another try. It was a lot of fun.. Brooklyn even got to take a turn.. She looked so cute in her little snow suit. Oops Mommy thought it had feet (-: Conner was amazing at skating and stuck with it for fall after fall after fall... poor guy has the bruises to prove it!

Fun at the Lake!

We had a wonderful weekend in Lake Arrowhead this past weekend! We had a blast swimming, canoeing, feeding the ducks and even ice skating.

6 Months old!!

It is so amazing that our little Brooklyn is 6 months old already! It seems like just yesterday we were reaching into the port holes in her NICU incubator and holding her hand. Now she is loving her exersaucer, learning to laugh at all sorts of things, especially big brother! She loves swimming, chattering and smiling! She continues to be such a blessing to us! Here are some new pictures of her.. including a fussy face that we don't see very often! She was sad that Conner took her dolly away!

Last Minute Train Ride

The day before we were planning on starting the drive home, we got a call from a friend of Opa's who has built miniature steam engines and quite a track system on his property. He has built everything by hand, the track, the engines and all the cars, its quite an amazing thing. Conner rode on it the first time we were in Montana when he was 18 months and kept asking if we could go again and take Brooklyn. It was a fun end to a wonderful vacation!

Tractor Driving

One of our favorite parts of Montana is driving Opa's tractor... its actually Opa's Granddaddy's tractor which means that it is Conner and Brooklyn's Great, Great Grand Daddy's tractor... such a wonderful part of family history. Here are some cute shots on the tractor.

Thursday we spent the morning at the shooting range my dad belongs to, our friend Kathryn came with us which made the trip extra special! Conner had so much fun shooting his "Chipmunk gun", Brooklyn enjoyed inspecting her "Cricket Gun" and Steve had a "Grand time" shooting the WWII M1 Garand, I tried my hands at a few pistols.. I think I am a revolver girl!
