Watch out Beckham, here comes Conner!!!

Conner is VERY into Soccer right now! We have registered him for AYSO for this coming fall but August seems like a world away! Tonight we went to watch his Aunts and Uncles in their adult league and he wanted to dress the part! He went in his "slippery shorts" and his "number jersey" and his shin guards and cleats, and "those long socks"... so funny, he is more about the outfit than anything. When we were driving down there were offered him a piece of cake as a snack and he said.. " No mom, I can't eat cake, I have on my new outfit!" Anyway, here are some shots of our future soccer star!

Poppies!

This morning we went on a family hike up by the poppies! We had a fun time enjoying the beautiful hillsides and wind. We got l some cute shots and even had a few meltdowns, mostly do to stink bugs (-: On the way back to the car Conner comment as he jumped out of the way of one such bug. " I am really just not a bug guy!". Its so fun to watch him grow!

Potato Cousins

Steve's cousin Tina, her husband Robert and their kids James, Dallas and Maddie were here visiting from Idaho. When I showed Conner on the map where Idaho was there was a potato so now we call them the potato cousins. They all had so much fun in the pool together! We wish they lived closer.

Disneyland!!

The day after Easter we took Opa to Disneyland. We enjoyed riding the Columbia Pirate Ship, playing on the Brother bear ropes course and of course going on several rides and watching the Electrical Parade! Conners favorite this trip were: Buzz Lightyear again (Mommy beat everyone's score and earned a level 4!), (-: The train, especially the Dinosaurs, and Soaring over California!

Cousin Hunt!

Conner and Kaylee hunted eggs the evening of Easter at Steve's folks. They also enjoyed playing in the spa and even cleaned up all the dishes together! These two share such a special bond! They LOVE each other!!

Easter Fun!

Conner thought that the Easter Bunny did a pretty good job of picking out his eggs and the cars that when with them! He had fun gathering them up from all around his "play structure".

Decorating Eggs

Conner had a lot of fun decorating his Easter Eggs this year! He was very particular about how long they stayed in each color and which ones when in each color!

Disneyland!!

For Christmas we got money for tickets to disneyland which thrilled Conner. He has been once but he was only a little under two. We went with our friends the Zekos. Conner and Andrew have a lot of fun together and Andrew is quite fearless which was good for Conner.

Conner did really well, he loved Buzz Lightyear, and Nemo the Submarine, and tolerated Pirates and Thunder Mountain, as you can see from the pictures was not a huge hit. He has told us that he wants to try again when he is 5 so we will see!

It was a fun day and one with lots of memories! We have the 2fer so we can't wait to go back!
