Conner's First Day of School!!
Delta 2007
We spent the last few days at the Sacramento River Delta with Steve's side of the family. After a 4 year hiatus of going on this annual trip we made the journey. There was lots of wakeboarding, waterskiing, and laughs and even more pictures taken! We had a fun time and made lots of memories! Here is a glimpse!

Demolition Derby
Steve's group at work entered a car in the Demolition Derby this year at the Fair! Steve had worked on the car a little so we decided it would be fun to go see the Derby! It was quite the experiance. I think Conner was a little shocked at first. He kept asking.. are the police going to come now?
The Lockheed car was painted like a skunk. We didnt win but was fun to chear him on! Steve says he wants to drive a car next year. We will see. Conner of course needed some more cotton candy to make his evening complete as well!

Dirty Memories!!!
Well this weekend we created quite a family memory. One our way to get Mexican Food at a place in Rosamond we had to take a detour because of a closed road. Well this detour changed into some fairly exciting off roading. Now normally this would not have been a problem but what we didnt know is that the area we were "off roading" in had experianced a flash flood about an hour before. To make a long story short we got stuck. We tried for several hours last night to get out of the hole with some very friendly people.
Today we went back to Rosamond to try and dig it out again and ended up calling a friend from church that has lots of experience with off roading and pulling people out. He got us out in one try and it was back to paved roads as quick as possible.
We are so thankful to have met these new friends, have great friends that are so willing to help at a moments notice and most of all that the Lord protected everyone physically.
Here are some fun pictures that will go down in the history books!
