Splashing in the Mud!!

Every little boys dream! We let Conner play in the mud during a recent rain and he LOVED it! Then he came inside dried off and warmed up with some hot chocolate!

Big Boy Bike!

Conner has finally learned how to peddle his tryke, and we decided that it would be fun to upgrade him to Uncle Robby's "Big Boy Bike". Conner likes the tryke a lot better because its easier, however he is really getting the hang of it. He looks so cute and big on his bike!

Snowy Moments

We had a great time at Lake Arrowhead playing in the snow. Conner loved throwing snowballs and building a snowman. It was so cute to see him get all wet and muddy. Boys will be Boys!!!

Mimi's Christmas

The morning of the 26th we had Christmas with Mimi (my mom)... Conner was really getting the hang of things by this point! He has a blast with his squiggle car though and loves his new cars and boots!

Christmas With the Armstrongs

The evening of Christmas we celebrated with my moms side of the family. Conner had a great time with Uncle Craig, Aunt Julie, and Missy and Josh. Papa and Grandma Boo Boo seemed to really enjoy having everyone together. Papa even got dressed up for the occasion

Christmas Morning!!

We had a nice Christmas morning at our house with just my dad. Conner was thrilled with his new O guage train... although I thin Daddy and Opa are just as thrilled. I have to admit I have had a lot of fun playing trains and dreaming about the fun layouts we can build. I think we have found a fun family hobby. Steve and I also enjoyed our Christmas morning and some fun new clothes and shoes and an I pod and an Apple TV to play all our pictures and movies on!

Christmas Number 1

The first day of our three day Christmas Celebration took us to Steve's folks. We had a nice afternoon on Christmas eve opening presents, eating yummy food and laughing together. Conner was very specific that he wanted to make Jesus a birthday cake this year and that he wanted it to be polka dotted. He and I had a little bit different idea of what the cake was going to look like but he was quickly able to add his touches and it came out really cute.

A train or two

Conner had quite the "Train" christmas. It all started when one of the men Steve works with invited us over to see his HO train layout. This man has built the Tehachapi Loop in a spare room in his home. Conner, and Steve and Opa and I were in awe. It was really fun to see all the trains and Conner became captivated very quickly and even got to drive them a for a few minutes, thats right at FULL SPEED AHEAD!

Cookies and Caroling

A few friends from church and us decided that it would be fun to take our kids Christmas caroling to some of the older people in our church. We made cookies one day and then delivered the cookies to the older people with about 6 other familes. It was really fun to see the kids singing their little hearts out (although not always the same words that the adults were singing). I hope that we made a difference in these sweet older peoples Christmas, and I hope they enjoy sprinkles.
