Ice Cream Beach!

Conner loved the idea that there were little carts selling ice cream all over at the beach. So after we got all showered off and de sanded we shared an ice cream bar! Well, Steve and I got a few bites anyway.

Beach Day!!!

On our anniversary weekend Steve and I took Conner with us for a fun family mini vacation. We spent Saturday at Doheny Beach in Dana Point. Conner quickly warmed up to the waves and soon it was hard to get him out. He loved jumping over the waves and running from them.

Steve and Conner also built and sometimes destroyed a cool sandcastle. It was a really fun day!

New Hair Cut

My sweet little boy, looks so much older with his new hair cut! He was not wanting to hold still for pictures but here are a few cute ones!

Great Grandma and Papa "Boo Boo"

Conner got to spend quality time with his great grandparents this week. He is such a blessed little boy to have 5 of his 8 great grandparents still alive. He will have some fond memeories of all of them. Here are some cute shots of him with Grandma and Papa Boo Boo as he has named them. Where did the boo boo come from you may ask? Well, two years ago when my grandma had a bad fall and was terribly bruised on her face Conner kept saying Boo Boo.. and then called her grandma boo boo. They liked the name and its stuck!

Happy Father's Day

Steve is such a wonderful daddy. He and Conner have such a special bond and I love to watch and listen to them play and wrestle. Often times I am not sure who the bigger kid is. Conner of course wants to be just like his daddy when he grows up and constantly says... "when I am big like my daddy". Thank you for your constant love and support and hard work for our family! We love you Steve

Swimming Lessons

Conner has been going to swimming lessons for the past two weeks with Miss Jody from his school. She and Conner have had a special bond all year and it continued in the pool. He is doing so well and continues to love the water. He has the skill we just need to practice some more and stay focused. Here are some shots from his last day!

Last Day of School!!!

Today was Conner's last day of school for the summer. He had a great year and we are sad to leave Miss Delia and Miss Faith. They were so great with Conner and putting up with his tears in the morning. Maybe next year will have an easier time at drop off. Conner does love school though, I know he will miss it this summer.

Way to go Mommy!

This weekend mommy had her College Graduation at Cal State Bakersfield. Conner really got into the whole experience. He loved the pomp and circumstance and thought the cap and gown were funny. He also enjoyed spending some time durring the speeches playing soccer. Afterwards we had a big party to celebrate, which Conner though was for him! He and daddy both played a huge role in mommy finishing her degree though so in a way it was. So nice to be done!

Yo Ho Yo Ho.... A Pirate's Life for Conner

Tonight we had Conner's Open House at his preschool. It was a pirate theme so we dressed the part. Miss Delia did a wonderful job decorating the classroom and even had a real pirate there. It was a little intense for Conner though and he did not want to go in. It was fun to see all his work that he has done this year. What a cute Pirate family we make! Conner loves to deul with his knife too!
