A Beautiful Saturday in Palmdale!

The weather has been so wonderful this week! Its nice and warm and if you catch it just right its not too windy. The boys did some yard work today and Conner had a ball "Chopping" down a tree in the backyard. Brooklyn was asleep for most of the day but enjoyed some time in her new swing out on Conner's play structure. She loved swinging and being outside! If only it would stay this nice!

A surprise Visit!

Opa surprised us and came for a visit this weekend! It was so fun to have him. He had not seen Brooklyn since she was in the NICU. He has nick named her "Cheeks". We caught some cute cuddles!

Beach day!

This weekend we went to Leo Carillo St. Beach in Mailbu for a family birthday party! Conner had so much fun playing in the water. He has been begging for months to go to the beach, it was a little cool in the morning but warmed up pretty nice! Miss Brooklyn slept the whole day away!

Box Fun!

A few weeks ago we got a new dryer! Yeah! Conner and Steve had a blast building a race car out of the dryer box! Then a few nights later they built a Leprechaun trap before St. Patrick's day! It was so cute, we have had to raise the bar for the trap next year though since we didn't catch Leo this year. I think Conner is planning something with a remote control and some steal.

The Happiest Place on Earth

Yesterday was the last day that our Annual Passes worked for Disneyland. Conner has been wanting to take Brooklyn since before she was born so we decided we would go. She was quite the little trooper! She slept pretty much all day in the Baby Bjorn. Loved the lights and movement of "Its a Small World" and was quite taken with Goofy. Conner had a ball showing her everything and loved playing with his cousin Kaylee. I am exhausted but it was a fun day!

She got to watch her big brother learn to ride his Big Boy Bike and drink her bottle outside.

She got to meet her new Cousin Audrey Anne who is 6 weeks younger, but still several ounces bigger!

Block Boy

Conner has been having so much fun building with his wooden blocks. Here are some of the creations he has built. The really tall one is the "Ritz Carlton". We were reading a story that talked about the Ritz and Conner thought that we should go there some time and try the food. I am sure it would be very good, but we will never know! (-: So he built his own Ritz, notice the smaller blocks that form the windows on the tall hotel.

Big Boy Bike!!

Conner has been doing really well riding his Big Boy Bike for a while now and has gotten so good that its time to take off the training wheels. This weekend we spent some time attempting to ride it without help. We made a few peddles before crashing a few times and kept asking Daddy let go! let go! then when he crashed he said "Why did you let go?". We will need some more practice before we are ready for Daddy to really let go but its so fun to watch our little boy grow up!
