Father and Son

Conner and Steve have such a special relationship. They have so much fun together and many times its hard to tell which is the bigger kid! I am so blessed to have these two special boys in my life!

I love you guys!!!

Early Father's Day and Someday a Father's Day!

My mom gave Steve his Father's Day present a bit early so he and Conner could enjoy it in the pool. What fun the two boys has racing their boat. We are looking forward to getting it on the lake in Montana and also at Arrowhead to see what this boat can really do.

Conner kept saying all weekend, "I can't believe we have a boat like this" . So cute.

Conner also got to open a Christmas present that we had stashed away for a few months. He had a ball with his pirate ship. Its really cool that it can float too. We called it his, "Someday you will be a Father's Day" present.

Memorial Day Weekend in the Desert

Thats right, we went from one desert to another desert on vacation. Does it make a whole lot of sense, well maybe not but we had a great pool, golf cart, and many more activity options in Palm Desert. Its always nice to get away anyway. We were not ready to come home.

Conner got to play with Hannah while we were there and of course they had a ton of fun. The splashed in the pool and Drove the golf cart, with help of course, and ate lunch. They even had matching outfits. Hannah is a big sister as of today too, she has a cute new little brother! Conner can't wait to meet him too.

SUMMER!!!

While Conner still has two more weeks of school he has been enjoying the summer weather. Actually the weather is not quite up to Summer heat yet but we have been enjoying the sun and splashing in little pools.

He has also been helping Steve paint our entertainment center. Steve has been rebuilding it to accomidate our new TV. Yes, our little 19 incher has been replaced. Its nice to be able to see the screen. What a cute little helper.

Ice Cream Truck

For months we have wanted to take Conner to the Ice Cream truck. However, it never seems to come near our house or it comes when Conner is taking his nap. Today, was finally the day! We were outside playing baseball and I heard the truck. We ran in the house and grabbed shoes and money and took off running around the block. We ran several blocks and finally caught the truck. Conner chose a Strawberries and Cream popsicle and I had a chocolate bar with almonds. He really enjoyed it as you can see! This is what Summer days are made of!

Aloha!!!

Uncle Brian and Aunt Jacqueline brought Conner and Kaylee matching outfits from their recent trip to Hawaii. We dressed the kids in them for Mother's Day. They were so cute together. What special friends these two are becoming.

Mount Conner

It seems we have a future scientist on our hands! This past week Conner has gotten obssesed with Volcanoes. We have checked out several books from the Library and two movies about Volcanoes. One is a Magic School bus which I thought would be much more his speed than the National Geographic but he tells me that its not "Smart Enough" and asks to watch the National Geographic, over and over and over. He is even learning the correct terms for Lava (when the molten rock is above the surface and magma when its below the surface). Mimi got him a volcano making kit at the book fair this week and it was a huge it. We named is Mount Conner.

Washing the Car

Some neighbor boys came around washing cars to raise money for camp and we let them wash our cars. While they were out there Conner decided it was time to wash his "pickup truck" he had sooo much fun getting it clean. I think he might have gotten a little water in the gas tank though!

Good Bye Clara

Conner's best friend Clara is moving to Washington DC in two weeks. We had their family over for dinner last week and the kids had a wonderful time watching and dancing to Little Mermaid. Here are the two love birds together for one of the last times. We will miss you Bradley family!

Spring Sing

Last night Conner's Preschool had their first ever "Spring Sing". It was wonderful. Conner's class sang two songs, by the Wiggles including, Wags the Dog, hence the puppy costumes. Conner was the hit of the show, he loved performing for everyone and waving at everyone, even people he didn't know. He also loved dancing and clapping and doing the motions, of course to the correct beat of the music.

After the program the children were all given awards. Conner was voted MOST ENTHUSIASTIC, boy do they have him pegged.

We went to Cold Stone for desert after the show and Conner got a Cotton Candy Ice Cream with Marshmellows, what a combination.
